Biography
Anne Spurgeon is an interdisciplinary artist who has explored a wide range of materials, techniques, and conventions. Her involvement began through performance, from playing guitar on stage, to creating private video performances about identity and the sense of the public and private self. Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times and Artnet News. She holds a BFA from The Ohio State University and a MFA from the School of Visual Arts. Currently, she works as an educator at The Museum of Modern Art and as an administrator and educator at The Noguchi Museum.
