Gérard Zlotykamien, from precursor of urban art in France, to Ocaña DF walls. Because beyond Streetfood we are passionate of Streetart. Gérard Zlotykamien aka Zloty is a French street artist born in 1940. Together with Daniel Buren and Ernest Pignon-Ernest, he is one of the initiators of Urban Art in France. Zloty was introduced to the spray technique by Yves Klein, whom he knew personally. The first interventions in the street of Gérard Zlotykamien date from 1963. His drawings, which he calls “ephemeral” evoke the human shadows that have been imprinted on the walls after the explosion of Hiroshima.
