Biography
Gideon Rubin is an Israeli-British artist born in 1973, known for his evocative and abstracted portraits that explore themes of childhood, family, and memory. Rubin's work often features faceless figures, drawing inspiration from old photo albums, celebrity paparazzi shots, and classical paintings. Collectors are drawn to Rubin's art for its ability to evoke a sense of shared history and personal reflection. His paintings, with their muted palettes and enigmatic subjects, offer a contemplative experience that resonates with audiences worldwide, making his work a valued addition to both private and public collections.
