James Stroud
Biography
James Stroud received his MFA in painting and printmaking from the Yale School of Art in 1984. Upon graduation he founded Center Street Studio, a professional printmaking workshop that prints and publishes contemporary prints with emerging and established artists. Currently represented by Galerie Mourlot in NYC, he has shown his work extensively in this country and abroad. His work is represented in several public collections including the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, Russia, the Yale University Art Gallery, the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College and the Fogg Museum at Harvard University. James is also the founder and master printer of Center Street Studio.
