In celebration of Christie’s 40th Anniversary in Asia, this March Christie’s Hong Kong is honored to present 20th/21st Century Evening Sale with a landmark selection of artworks that brings together an outstanding group of modern and contemporary masterpieces from across the world. Leading the sale is Gerhard Richter's seminal and incandescent Abstraktes Bild. Composed of sweeping fields of vivid red layered through the artist’s signature squeegee technique, the work radiates a striking luminosity and now makes its auction debut.
