Founded in 2011 in New York's West Village, Karma represents a growing roster of fifteen emerging and established artists of different generations.  The gallery handles work in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, drawing and printmaking. Its current exhibition space is located in the East Village, where eight to ten exhibitions are presented each year, many of which are accompanied by Karma-published monographs and artist books. In April 2018 the gallery launched a neighboring bookstore to further its publishing initiatives.
