Biography
AV Ryan is an artist and writer. Her work spans the disciplines of sculpture, architecture and painting. Her work has been exhibited at FiveMyles, Kustera Projects and Sideshow Gallery in Brooklyn and Gallery Aferro in Newark, NJ. Her architectural projects include temple, which she built for the sculpture prairie at Art Farm Nebraska, and sol, which she built for the PlusSpace at FiveMyles. Her writing has been published in The Brooklyn Rail. She holds a BA from Princeton University and a BFA from Rutgers University. She worked with the homeless for over a decade. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
