Alejandro Saki Sacarello b.1993, San Juan, Puerto Rico. BFA Escuela de Artes Plásticas, PR. Saki’s artistic practice is strongly linked to everyday life. His obsessive photographic documentation of quotidian anomalies in Puerto Rican society often manifests through paintings, drawings, sculptures and interactive installations that appeal to humor and multiple senses. His latest series of drawings create narratives using objects often found in dumpsters also known as “escombros” wich he gives human-like characteristics. Sacarello's recent paintings reference popular and autobiographical sayings.
