Biography
Angeline Marie Michael Meitzler is an artist and software worker based in Brooklyn, NY. She engages in social and activist practices through performance, writing, and creating web-based resources and applications. Her practice and research investigates social constructions and hierarchies that inform economic systems such as the construction of value and the distribution of wealth. She is a MFA student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, an MS student in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, a member of Soft Surplus - a multi-disciplinary arts collective, a co-founder of Club Dirty Talk and has held positions as an AI research associate for an arts/technology lab at Pioneer Works and Cornell University’s WorldQuant Initiative for Quantitative Prediction.
