Anna Cone
Biography
Anna Cone is a photographer, digital collage, and installation artist. Originally from North Carolina, Cone currently works between Brooklyn and Newburgh. She received a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from the College of Charleston, and is currently an MFA candidate at Hunter College. Cone has exhibited internationally in galleries and fairs including Stichting White Cube, the Netherlands, The Wassaic Project, New York, Project for Empty Space, Newark, SPRING/BREAK Art Show, New York, Wallplay, New York, 4heads Governors Island Art Fair, The Untitled Space, New York and the Sotheby’s Institute, New York Cone has curated installations and experiences for PINE Magazine, Project for Empty Space, and SPRING/BREAK Art Show. She is stimulated by psychic readings, 70s vampires and witches, old master paintings, surrealist films, 19th century Spiritualism, radical women and the body.
