Artem Filatov

Artem Filatov (b. 1991, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) is an artist and curator who lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod. He is the organizer of the street festival Nizhny Novgorod: The Ancient, Nizhny Novgorod (2014–2016). He curated the exhibition Nalitso, Futuro Gallery, Nizhny Novgorod (2016) and co-curated the exhibition The Life of the Living (with Alisa Savitskaya), National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA), Nizhny Novgorod (2016). First solo exhibition: Tabula (with Vladimir Chernyshev), Artwin Gallery, Moscow (2015). Group exhibitions include: 4th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Museum of Moscow (2014); and The Museum of Great Hopes, National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA), Nizhny Novgorod (2015). He was the recipient of a grant for emerging artists from Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow (2016)
