Bahar Bambi is a Berlin born artist and concentrates on the pattern of the Middle East and Street art, which is inspired by her german and turkish roots. The Magic Carpet Journey illustrates and describes the life within two different cultures. The middle eastern art represents the konservative and perfection through its symmetries and highly structured design, where on the other side the street art has the expressive power in its social aspect and freedom of speech. By incorporating various subjects, she modernizes the traditional art and breaks boundaries by overlapping and connecting them. Although these cultures differ a lot from each other, bringing both together on one canvas creates a magical new story and beauty through its contrast.
