Biography
A professional artist since 2003, I have been involved in art for most of my life. Born in Maine in 1979, I grew up in an artistic family and decided at the age of 10 that I would become an artist. I have had several artistic mentors along the way, including the contemporary landscape painter Alan Bray, the collage artist Roderick Slater and the exceptional and innovative book artist Richard Minsky, and although I studied Classical Literature and Philosophy at St John’s College, Annapolis, I also studied at the Art Students League of New York. In 2018 I moved my studio to Philadelphia. My works have won top awards at many juried competitions, have shown in galleries across America, and are included in numerous private collections around the world.
