Bob Szantyr
Biography
Bob Szantyr is a polydicsciplinary artist based in New York. His work is centered in the home space, concerned with the sentimentality of its contents and the beliefs on which it is founded—safety, stability, containment, separation. His work has been exhibited extensively in New York as well as in Connecticut and Washington D.C. His work has also been shown internationally in Belgium, Norway, and The Czech Republic. Szantyr received an MFA from CUNY Brooklyn College in 2019 and a BFA from New York University in 2009.
