Biography
Carol Jablonsky’s lithographs, etchings, and sculptures are exhibited and collected throughout the United States, Mexico, and beyond. Her whimsical works demonstrate the skills she acquired during years of technical art education. Born in 1939 in Port Washington, New York, Carol Jablonsky studied at Boston University in Massachusetts, the Arts Students League in New York, and the Institute Allende in Mexico. Jablonsky created works in a variety of media, including watercolors, tempera painting, etchings, drypoints, and lithographs. Her technical artistry and unique style gained Jablonsky notoriety among public and private art collectors. Jablonsky’s work has been featured in exhibits at: • The El Paso Museum of Art in Texas • The National Society of Painters, Casein, New York • The Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco, California • Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania • The Society of the Four Arts, Palm Beach, Florida Her one-person exhibitions were held at Circle Galleries and Collectors Circle Galleries throughout the United States. Circle Fine Arts published Jablonsky’s original graphic works beginning in 1972. Jablonsky passed away in 1992 but her work continues to be widely collected, exhibited, and admired.
