Biography

Charlie White (born 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American artist and academic. White received his BFA in 1994 from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and received his MFA from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, in 1998. He held the position of professor at the Roski School of Art and Design, University of Southern California in Los Angeles from 2003 to 2016. Since mid-2016 White has held the position of professor and Head of School at the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University.
