Christina Graham
Biography
Christina Graham was born in NYC in 1989 and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from RISD with a BFA in painting in 2011. Her work uses portals—windows, mirrors and curtains—to explore the subjectivity of perceptual experience. She has been artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center, Trestle Artist Residency and Cuttyhunk Island Artist Residency. Graham’s paintings have been included in group exhibitions at Tiger Strikes Asteroid, New York; The LeRoy Neiman Gallery at Columbia University; chashama, New York; Camayuhs Gallery, Atlanta; 440 Gallery, New York; and Fjord Gallery, Philadelphia as well as solo exhibitions at Brethren Gallery and White Couch Projects in Queens, NY. Her first solo show, Ridgewood Reflections, was covered on ARTnews, Juxtapoz Magazine, and Whitewall Magazine online. She lives and works in Queens, NY.
