Clara Claus is a French artist, she studied at Ecole Duperré, in Paris, and at the Cooper Union, in New York. she makes drawings, paintings and videos. She investigate the invisible, memory, fire, children’s games, dreams, tales, reminiscence, evanescence, stains, fragments, traces, nebulae, the hypnagogic moment, minerals, transmission, the in-betweens, between matter and imagination, between real and invented, between present and childhood, the imprints, residue, debris, mist, the veil, what floats, and what escapes.
