Biography

Corinne Weidmann is a contemporary artist who pours abstract, theoretical, and philosophical concepts and visualizations of landscapes into her work. Born in Switzerland and living in Costa Rica, Berlin and London, her work has been exhibited in international solo- and group exhibitions and featured globally by the Snowsports industry. Working for over a decade with a diversity of clients such as Roxy, Dakine, Mammut, Mervin Manufacturing, Paul Scherrer Institute and the University of London, Corinne uses her platform to advocate for climate action, as an active ambassador for NGOs. Corinne earned her B.A. from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne in 2009 and is primarily known for her vibrant and modern Mountainscapes. She describes her style as flowering, untamed and vivid, just like nature; however, her roots, traditional folk art and the Swiss landscapes have shaped her artistic style the most. She speaks six languages and her interests in astrophysics and the cosmos have elevated her work, bringing a fresh perspective and appreciation for the natural and interconnected cycles of life. As a professional artist, Corinne has collaborated with Indigenous artists and elevated brands and institutions worldwide with her innovative designs and conscious worldview. Her ability to remain open-hearted and hopeful while tackling the current changes in the climate through her artwork makes her an artist that matters.
