Dorian Lee
Biography
Dorian Lee is a Brooklyn-based artist working in photography and installation. He examines the impact of the subconscious on personal growth and change. He considers light and shadow to be his primary media and uses them to represent the structure of thoughts and emotions in the mind. Lee’s work draws inspiration from a variety of sources including psychodynamic therapy, urban architecture, science fiction, shoegaze music, and the rave scene. His work has been exhibited in various venues such as SHIM (NY), Site:Brooklyn (NY), Art Mora (NJ), and Blackbox Gallery (OR). He received his BS at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
