Biography
Geraldine Lim is an artist who is interested in the psychological context of social alienation, and the threats of the non-conforming and the stranger. Working primarily with soft sculpture and video, she explores the awkwardness and uncanny aspects within objects and forms. Prior to pursuing a MA Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Geraldine was trained in painting and was the recipient of the People’s Choice Award for Cliftons Art Prize in 2016. Her animated film, Ouch, was also recently nominated for the National Youth Film Awards 2018.
