Hannah Weinberger (b. 1988 in Filderstadt / Swiss-USA) lives and works in Basel. Recent solo exhibitions include: Centre d’Art contemporain, Geneva (2019); Villa Merkel, Esslingen (2018); Freedman Fitzpatrick, Paris (2018); Kunstverein, Braunschweig (2017); Freymond Guth, Basel (2016); Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe (2016); Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin (2016); Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, Hamburg (2015); MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge (2014); Kunsthaus Bregenz (2014); and Kunsthalle Freiburg (2013). Recent group exhibitions include: Centro Centro, Madrid (2019); Zabriskie Point, Geneva (2016); Okayama Art Summit (2016) and Migros Museum of Art, Zurich (2015). Her work belongs to the collections of Mobilière, Bern, Louis Vuitton Foundation, Paris and the Kanton Basel-Stadt Collection. She is a recipient of the Swiss Art Awards (2019); Kiefer Hablitzel prize (2017); the Dr. Georg and Josi Guggenheim Prize (2016); and is a board member of the Kunsthalle Basel.
