Biography
Henry Taylor uses both canvases and unconventional supports such as cereal boxes, cigarette packets, and suitcases to explore issues of race and cultural politics. He graduated with a BA from California Institute of the Arts in 1995 after working as a psychiatric technician in a state hospital for ten years. Taylor completed a residency at MoMA PS1 in 2012. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
