Biography
Pezeshknia was the first Iranian modernist who studied art outside Iran. He could have influenced the modernist current with his achievements. Yet, because of his solitary attitude, his doubts and worries, not only did he not play a part in the transformation of contemporary art in Iran, he could not even point out a clear path in his own art.
