Jean Carla Rodea (b Mexico City) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator currently based in Brooklyn. Her multimedia installations and performances focus on sites where sociopolitical and cultural constructs become visible. Through a combination of music, sound art, vocal performance and performance art, poetry, photography, video, movement, and sculpture, they explore how time is insistently constructed through memory.
