Biography
Jean-Marc Nahhas was born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1963. He got his education from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France. Nahhas expresses his own journey in his art, though critiquing our contemporary society and Lebanon’s civil war atrocities. His comic-strip compositions denote either oddly implausible characters or explicitly sexual. Nahhas resides today in Beirut, Lebanon, and teaches drawing at ALBA.
