Biography

My works are often time a race between the use of simple visceral lines in the representation of social interactions and baseline emotions viewers may consider to be aspects of what it means to be human. Fundamentally, my paintings seek to draw empathy from those who view it, challenge their inner emotions and evoke the realisation that as varied as we are as humans, the search for meaning is what unites us as a race. Knowing that things are most times what we want them to mean, I leave most of my work open-ended to create wide enough room for the people who view it to come to their own conclusion.
