Biography
The Spanish artist Juan Soler is especially known for his paintings in a historical style. As a young man he moved to the capital, where he spent a lot of time in the Museo del Prado. He was impressed by the Dutch and Flemish Painters. Juan Soler was active from 1941 - 84. In the 1970s he was attracted by the movement of the nuevo realism. He traveled Italy, Greece and the USA. Numerous group exhibitions followed.
