Biography
He was born in Bergara, in 1884 and died in Lima in 1957. After starting as a sailor, he settled in Lekeitio. He began studying painting in the workshop of Eduardo Jack mackerel and continued in Paris in Julien, Grand Chaumiere and Colarosi academies. Its production spread among numerous museums: New York, Stockholm, Buenos Aires, Reina Sofia, Bilbao Fine Arts, etc... Possessor of a prominent personality, published as an art critic various studies. In 1952 he moved to Lima, where he was appointed curator of the Peruvian national art treasure.
