Biography
Marcial Ayala is an experienced artist from Peru whose works have been shown in solo shows internationally and featured in publications. Ayala has been fascinated by art since he was a kid growing up in Cusco, a city that intertwines colonial painting and architecture with the culture of the Incas. He is an oil painter, but works mainly in collage, using pornographic images from the internet to compile larger works that speak towards sexuality, politics, and religion.
