Biography

Everything began in the home of my childhood and the need to communicate my feelings. Since that time, the comparison of things and their transformation have fascinated me​. My inspiration is from all the everyday things that surround me; near and far. The immediate world and how it applies to the image, – to dedicate time to observe the detail and make my emotional visualisation of that image, individual or ephemeral. I search for and make a vision of multiplicity in the detail. My academic background was at the Massana School of Art, Barcelona. During those years, my principal interest was painting. At that time, the sketches for my pictures were collages without my realising what they were. In 2011, I spent a period of personal research and reflection in Berlin where I made a breakthrough practising the working techniques for my current art. It is linear, it is empty, it’s a metaphor, it’s a game, a suggestion, a story. It is infinite, it is silent, a scream, a love. It is assembling a dream world, the search for beauty. A place to study the present. “I am it – and it is me” My work is about the processes, everything begins with a gesture, a cut. The cutter becomes a brush. The instinctive and atavistic becomes the technique. There are searching thoughts. With the diversity of images, one thought leads to another.
