Biography

Martin Bigum (born 1966) is a Danish autodidact multi artist mostly known for his paintings. His inspirations are multiple ranging from satirical cartoons, to his childhood and history of art. His paintings are colorful and busy, and the topics range from humorous to poetical and existential – always with a strong urge to communicate with the beholder.
