Masako Miki

Born in Osaka, Masako Miki received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts, Painting, and Printmaking from Notre Dame de Namur University and her MFA in Pictorial Arts from San Jose State University. She has completed residencies at the de Young Museum, Facebook, and Kamiyama Artists in Residency in Tokushima, Japan. Her work has been represented in a number of exhibitions across the United States, including the Headlands Center for the Arts in San Francisco, the Berkeley Art Museum, and The Wassaic Project in New York. Miki is associated with the Bay Area Artists for Japan. She currently teaches at the University of California, Berkeley, De Anza College, and Evergreen Valley College. She lives and works in Berkeley, California.
