His work strategically balances on an intellectual seesaw of life and art, reason and absurdity, as well as morbid and comic, questioning one's perception of reality. Bouchet's works have been presented at solo exhibitions and showcased internationally, including multiple Biennials worldwide (e.g., 53rd Venice Biennale, 2009, and Manifesta 11 in Zurich, 2016).
