Biography

Moreno Bardella Moreno Bardella was born in Murano in 1952. Immediately after his studies he began to work as apprentice in a furnace as many other masters were used to do. Over the years he has developed a solid knowledge of glassblowing techniques and capacity to model glass. Moreno followed the footsteps of his family continuing an excellent tradition that has now almost vanished. His long experience and immense knowledge of all the secrets of the art of glass making gave him the chance to be able to use techniques like the famous "filigrana", "zanfirico", "murrine" and many others typical of the blown glass. What's more he achieved the same skill in producing sculpture of multi layered solid glass developing a 360° experience. He collaborated with many different artistic teams to produce important work of art of blown and "massello" glass. During the years he made pieces displayed in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He sadly passed away in 2022 but he transmitted his heritage
