I fell head over heels into painting I haven't recovered since. I paint girls for all their complexity and contradictions their dreaminess and innocence I paint sparingly intentionally with little detail to distract from the directness of their unabashed gaze. The stillness is key to reading the shifts between what you see and what you may feel.
