Biography

Ni Youyu, born in 1984, Ganzhou city Jiangxi province, is currently living and working in Shanghai. He was named the Best Young Artist of 2014 China Contemporary Art Award (CCAA). His recent solo exhibitions include: A Brief History, Form and Matter, Zilch, Inches of Time, Ni Youyu (Solo program of 2015 Art Basel Hong Kong); group exhibitions include: Bern, Kunstmuseum Switzerland, Museum of Art Lucerne, China Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum, Guan Shan Yue Art Museum, Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore and so forth. This year, Ni is about to attend the group exhibitions at National Gallery of Australia and two more solo exhibitions, one at Arario Gallery (Shanghai) and other at Museum of Contemporary Art (Taipei).
