Biography
Nuria began painting as a child, learning to use acrylics, watercolors and pencil drawing from an early age. She graduated in Art and Interior Design from the Ibiza Art School in 1999. Although Nuria became interested in art at an early age, she did not consider it a career when it came time for college. Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Barcelona, In 2020 confinement led her back to her youth’s passion for painting. Currently, she works as full-time artist in her studio in Palma city. Nuria is inspired by nature to capture the essence of light and color in her expressive landscapes, creating a style that combines elements of classical impressionism with modern expressionism. Her oil paintings stand out for their dramatic and colorful bringing a new look to contemporary Mediterranean landscapes. Originally from Barcelona, she lived in Ibiza and Switzerland, worked in Zurich, and is now based in Mallorca. She loves art, books, yoga, and coffee.
