Biography
Noted Virginia Artist Olga Farneth was born & raised in China and was always good at art in school. She started painting formally in the late 1960's and was soon exhibiting her works in east coast U.S. art shows. Settling in Colonial Beach in 1981 she opened her own gallery in 1991 along with her late husband who was also her framer. The tragedy of a hit & run accident in 2001 led to a 12-year period of therapy and recovery, before the artist resumed painting.
