Biography

My paintings and drawings suggest the nature of intimacy, community, transition, process, and progression. They depict life/forms, disparate and transient, that form societies constantly shifting and changing, combining to create fleeting moments of recognizable​ subjects and meaning. The materials I use have often been gathered in the same vein. I come across some old dried-up tubes of gouache, museum board cut-offs out of a skip from the picture framer down the street, pencils in varied states of use, etc., and rejuvenate them to create these works.
