Peter Wilhelm ist 1940 in Wien geboren, absolvierte eine Schriftsetzerlehre und studierte an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel und an der Werkkunstschule Offenbach. Wilhelm arbeitete als Grafik-Layouter für Zeitschriften wie dem Stern unter Henri Nannen, bei Jasmin und Bunte. Seine Arbeiten befinden sich in zahlreichen privaten Sammlungen.
