Pierre Jacquemon
Biography
Pierre Jacquemon was born in 1936, in Lyon, France. He moved to New York City, and settled in the Lower East Side to pursue his artistic career. Pierre had a solo exhibition at Bianchini Gallery in 1963, and exhibited at other New York City galleries throughout the 1960's and 1970's. His largely abstract, atmospheric works have a primordial feel and often contain ancient symbols and simple, yet powerful, shapes. Pierre Jacquemon died in 2002.
