Regina Jestrow - My work includes geometric textile assemblages, drawings, paintings, and sculptures that stem from my on-going interest in Folk Art Quilts, geometric patterns in nature, and geometric-abstract artists from the mid-twentieth century. I borrows traditions from quilt making using improvisation, contrast, repeat patterns, and shifts in scale, incorporating colors, textures, and structures representative of my surroundings in the South Florida landscape.
