Lazzarini’s work touches on themes ranging from memory to optics to the mythology of violence in American culture. Lazzarini is featured in collections at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC, the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Viriginia, the Newark Museum. Newark, New Jersey, and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota among others. He received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1990 and continues to live and work in New York City.
