Biography
Sam Kieth is a native Californian who broke into the comic book business by getting attention for co-creating and illustrating THE SANDMAN for DC Comics. Kieth went on to work for Marvel Comics, where he illustrated Wolverine covers and stories for Marvel Comics Presents. In 1993 Kieth created The Maxx, for Image Comics. The Maxx was adapted into an animated series for MTV’s Liquid Television in 1995 and went on to win an Annie award for Best Animated series. More recently, Kieth produced the critically acclaimed Zero Girl for DCE’s Homage Comics imprint.
