Sarah Stiehl
Biography
Sarah Stiehl has been a working artist for over 30 years, winning awards and art scholarshis in her early years, which inspired her to actively pursue an art career. She has been fortuate to recieve a great deal of knowledge from many other artists, plus from her training at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art. Sarah has traveled to Paris and Florence where she panted portraits and studied the old masters’ paintings. Sarah has made her home in New Orleans, Louisiana since 1973. She is now painting beautiful moments of the city she loves. She is known for her rich use of color and paint strokes in creating her works of art. Her paintings are full of life and she captures the feeling of “being a part of the painting” so very well.
