Biography
Shigeyoshi Koyama va néixer a la ciutat japonesa d'Osaka l'any 1940. Perseguits per la 2a Guerra Mundial, ell i la seva família, van haver de traslladar-se pel país a la recerca d'una ciutat segura on viure. A l'edat de 25 anys va iniciar els estudis de pintura a Tòquio. 10 anys més tard viatjar per primera vegada a Europa per visitar París, fins que va arribar a Cadaqués per casualitat fent autoestop. A parir d'aquell moment ha viscut quasi ininterrompudament al poble empordanès exposant les seves obres, de paisatges meditarranis, tant a Catalunya com a Tòquio.
