Biography

I am not limited to a specific style of art. There can be cubist, realistic, action painting, geometric, language, forms of all kinds in the same work. Anything and everything can happen. I invent and discover as the painting evolves, as writers often say their characters create their destiny. When I was in Rome at the American Academy I fell in love with the umbrella pines and that has been a continuous source of inspiration. There are other works that are focused on one subject, such as figures, landscapes, and abstraction. I hope that my paintings each present a singular experience that is profoundly engaging and compelling.
