Biography
Ted McGrath is an artist and musician living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He builds his work from a frenetic mish-mash of abstract and figurative elements, drawn largely from current events, pop culture, and personal history. These often disparate threads are then synthesized into drawings and paintings through an ever-growing personal repertoire of recurring forms, gestures, and figures. He was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, and received his BFA at Pratt Institute.
