Tim Taunton
Biography
Tim Taunton is a RETIRED Professor of Ceramics and Sculpture at LaGrange College, in LaGrange, Georgia. His work has appeared in publications including Ceramics Monthly, Ceramics: Art and Perception, and World Sculpture News. Tim’s work has also appeared in numerous exhibitions and workshops both nationally and internationally. His most recent solo exhibition (Oct. 2015-Feb. 2016) was at Huntsville Museum of Art in Huntsville, Alabama. In 2010, he had a solo exhibition at the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Georgia. He was a visiting artist at the World Ceramic Biennial Workshop and Exhibition sponsored by the government of South Korea in Yeo Joo, South Korea. His educational experience includes Arizona State University and an MFA from Louisiana State University.
